A few students still owe for passbooks. Please take care of this as soon as possible.

BAND NEWS
Students received a new practice chart for the new 6 weeks and there is one attached to this email (just in case)
Students are working on earning MEDALS in band class. They have a pass off sheet that must be filled out by November 1st. Students can pass off these lines / songs/ scales during class on certain days, and before or after school.

at Keller Stadium
(Band students get in free)
STUDENTS WILL ARRIVE AT 6:15PM
All FHMS band students are invited to join the FRHS band
in the stands during the FRHS varsity football game
Tickets to the football game will be on sale at Fossil Ridge High School
the week of the game for all parents.
(bus transportation is not provided)

Other Dates for…….WIND ENSEMBLE
· District Band Try-Out : October 22nd at Hillwood Middle School
· District Band Clinic and Concert: November 3rd at Fossil Ridge High School
(only if you are selected to play in the district band)
· Region Band Try-Out: November 5th at Indian Springs Middle School
Early Release day – October 7th
No school – October 10th
GOODIE BAGS!!!!!!!!
We would like to put together goodie bags for our “OUTSTANDING STUDENTS OF THE WEEK”
If you are able to donate some of these items, we would really appreciate it!
Small gift bags (paper bags or plastic)
Candy
Gum
Soft Drinks
Pencils
Pens
Erasers
Other cool gift items
(if every family donated one item on the list – our students would really get a nice gift for their hard work)
We will also need soft drinks to pass out to our students at the football game on October 28th. Please consider donating a 12 pack of soft drinks to the band program. You can drop them off at the front office any day between 8am – 4pm. Just make sure they know they are for the BAND J
