Murchison Contest May 2009

Honors I band performed today at the Murchison Hall in Denton, Texas and came out with a sweepstakes trophy. All 3 judges gave our wonderful band students and the awesome Mrs Janeski ones for their performance. The judges also gave awards to:

Outstanding Soloists today: Jessica O’Brien and Rachel Braam.

Outstanding Sections of the band: Clarinet and Trumpet…Trumpets were actually selected twice for two different pieces!!!!
